Women in Logistics Netcycling

Introducing our very first Women in Logistics Netcycling event!
We’re excited to be trying something a little different, with a relaxed and inclusive coastal cycle ride along the beautiful North Kent coast.
Organised by and hosted by qualified Level 2 British Cycling Ride Leader and WiL founder member Kevin Ford, this gentle ride from Minnis Bay to Reculver Castle and back is designed for all abilities.
No racing, no pressure, and no lycra required! Just an opportunity to connect with fellow logistics professionals while enjoying some fresh air, gentle exercise and picturesque scenery - and for the brave, an optional sea dip afterwards!

Logistics Innovation Through Inclusion: All Voices, One Future

Women in Logistics is delighted to partner with
Aston University to deliver a collaborative event exploring how inclusion is shaping the future of logistics and supply chain.
Organised in collaboration with Richard Atkinson, Teaching Fellow at Aston University, the event will bring together academia and industry to share experiences and perspectives on driving innovation through inclusion. Hosted at one of the UK’s leading universities for Degree Apprenticeships, it will welcome both apprentices and professionals from across the sector.
Attendees will also hear from guest speaker Claire Charlton, who will share her experience and perspective on the evolving role of inclusion within logistics.
The event will highlight the continued growth of Aston University’s Supply Chain Leadership programme, recognised for its strong focus on equity, diversity and inclusion, as well as the importance of allyship in creating meaningful, lasting change across the industry.

Networking doesn’t have to be daunting or stuffy! Join us for a relaxed Saturday Netwalk around the historic Foxton Locks, set along the Grand Union Canal in the Leicestershire countryside. Professionals working across logistics and supply chain are warmly welcome.
We’ll enjoy a sociable 3–4 mile walk at an easy pace, taking in the famous locks and canal-side scenery, with time to chat and connect along the way. After the walk, attendees are welcome to stay for an informal lunch at a local hostelry (at your own expense).

Keeping Pedestrians Safe

This Netwalk, organised by one of our founder members, Edward Sweeney, will offer a great opportunity to connect with others across the logistics and supply chain sector in an informal and welcoming setting.
