Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + car allowance + uncapped performance-based bonus

The Role
We are seeking a confident and results-driven
Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our client base. This strategic role involves securing new business, managing key accounts, and developing long-term growth strategies in partnership with our operations and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across e-commerce, retail, FMCG, and D2C sectors.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Create compelling proposals, pricing structures, and commercial terms.
- Represent Skyford at client meetings, networking events, and trade shows.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, contract retention, and account growth.
- Monitor performance KPIs and report on ROI, acquisition costs, and revenue targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, commercial, or business development within 3PL, logistics, or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, fulfilment, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Financial and commercial acumen, with confidence in pricing and contracts.
- A consistent record of exceeding targets.
Preferred:
- Experience selling into e-commerce, FMCG, or retail sectors.
- Familiarity with WMS/TMS systems.
- Degree or qualification in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain (desirable but not essential).
